Taking place in challenging conditions, these are fast-paced and popular races taking place across between May and September 2018, carefully selected for the Welsh triathlon Super Series.
The Welsh Triathlon Super Series showcases 6 carefully selected events from across Wales. It features some of Wales’ top triathletes as well as competitors from across the Home Nations. The Series runs from May through to September 2019, with athletes taking their top scores from four of the six events to qualify for the ‘Welsh Triathlon Super Series’ Crown. With strong competition in both the male and female categories, it proves to be a race until the very end.
Llanelli Triathlon 2019 (Round 1 Welsh Triathlon Super Series)
As the first event in the 2019 Welsh Triathlon Super Series a top-class field will line up to begin their championship campaigns on a fast, sprint distance course. With junior and paratriathlon titles also on the line, a great weekend of competition lies in store.

TATA Steelman Triathlon 2019 (Round 2 Welsh Triathlon Super Series)
The second event in the 2019 Welsh Triathlon Super Series takes place against the iconic backdrop of Port Talbot. With a course twice the distance of Round 1, competitors will have to dig deep.

Bala Big Bash 2019 (Round 3 Welsh Triathlon Super Series)
After a swim in the legendary Bala Lake, this classic event moves into the shadow of Wales’s highest mountains for the bike and run. Quicker athletes will be looking to exploit the shorter, sprint distance course and earn valuable series points.
Snowman Triathlon 2019 (Round 4 Welsh Triathlon Super Series)
Undoubtedly the toughest race in the 2019 series and arguably the toughest triathlon in Britain, this event begins with a swim in the freezing waters of the mountain lakes at Capel Curig. Gower Triathlon 2019 (Round 5 Welsh Triathlon Super Series)
A new addition to the series, this popular Olympic distance event features a sea swim, a spectacular bike ride over the hills of the Gower Peninsula and a coastal run where off-road running and steep hill climbs will settle the race.
Sandman Triathlon 2019 (Round 6 Welsh Triathlon Super Series)
The final event in the series takes place on the island of Anglesey in North Wales. A sea swim and hilly bike set up the 5k technical run in the forests and sand dunes of Newborough, where the titles will be decided.
