The Welsh Triathlon Super Series showcases 6 carefully selected events from across Wales. It features some of Wales’ top triathletes as well as competitors from across the Home Nations. The Series runs from May through to September 2019, with athletes taking their top scores from four of the six events to qualify for the ‘Welsh Triathlon Super Series’ Crown. With strong competition in both the male and female categories, it proves to be a race until the very end.
Llanelli Sprint Triathlon (Welsh Super Series) 2018
As the first event in the inaugural Welsh Super Series a top-class field will line up to begin their championship campaigns. With junior and paratriathlon titles also on the line, a great weekend of competition lies in store.
Pembrokeshire Coastal Triathlon (Welsh Super Series) 2018
After a swim in the Atlantic Ocean and a challenging bike ride on the steep and scenic local roads, the race finishes with a clifftop run that takes competitors high above the sea on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
Taking place in challenging conditions, this fast-paced and popular race is the penultimate round of the Welsh Super Series. The programme also features twice world triathlon champion Helen Jenkins, with husband Marc, in an exclusive interview.
Superfeet Sandman Triathlon (Welsh Super Series) 2018
One of the most unusual triathlons in the world, this event takes place on the island of Anglesey in the North of Wales. The event features a sea swim and a run in the forests and sand dunes of Newborough Warren. This year the weekend of action also hosts the final race of the Welsh Super Series.
