The first edition of the Canada Man Woman Extreme Triathlon was held on the weekend of 8-9 July 2017 in Lac-Mégantic, kicking off with a Sprint Triathlon on Saturday and followed by the main race on Sunday. 150 participants coming from 10 countries took to the start of the Extreme Triathlon in the early morning hours to finish the race on the top of Mount Mégantic with the aim to “reach the stars before midnight”.
