Over 1100 riders competed on the streets and trails of Tavira in the Algarve Bike Challenge 2020. The city of Tavira welcomed riders from 16 countries as the host venue for the 8th consecutive year.
The Algarve Bike Challenge has a well-deserved reputation all over the world for how it combines street racing and technical single tracks as the first of the three stages takes place in the city center followed by two marathons of 85 and 76 kilometers respectively, a race schedule which rewards only the fittest of athletes.

The athletes are competing in pairs, a unique style of racing that in combination with the stunning nature and the best suitable trails, is attracting teams from every level from all over the world.
